From Alpe d'Huez, we embark on an impressive 70.2 km circular route with + 2780 m elevation.
We will enjoy natural gems such as Col du Poutrain, Lac Besson, and the legendary 21 hairpin bends climb of Alpe d'Huez.
Leaving Alpe d'Huez, a 70 km stage with 2700+ elevation, featuring two hidden mountain passes with iconic views. We will reach our second hotel, La V de Vaujany.
Our Queen Stage, covering 140 km and 4900 m of positive elevation. Although it is a challenging stage, you can choose not to crown Col de Chaussy, saving 25 km and 1100 m of elevation.
A 90 km transition stage between hotels, starting from our second hotel and heading to Le Grand Aigle hotel. We will pass by Lac du Chambon, Cascade de la Pisse, and reach the summit of Col du Lautaret.
We start with Col del Elche, then continue on a circular route where we have an optional pass, Col de Sestriere, and connect back to Briançon through Col de Montgenèvre to complete the 125 km loop with +2,400 m of elevation.
The last day of the trip and probably one of the most exciting ones. We will wake up before the sunrise, and we will ride in the dark towards the Col du Granon. It is a unique experience to climb this famous pass in the dark with only a front/rear light. Catch the first rays of the sunlight and capture the best possible photos of yourself during the trip.
Congratulations, some would complete the french Job. Some will stay to chase a race.
We have breakfast and head out to witness a stage of the Tour de France, where our staff will be waiting for us with a privileged spot to watch the tour. We will settle in and enjoy one of the stages of great importance this year, Col du Galibier, one of the ports where we can experience the Tour de France to the fullest. With 55 km covered and 1100+ elevation.
Later, we return to the hotel, relax for the evening, and prepare for our departure to the airport the next day.
