KOMOREBI GRAVEL SERIES STAGE 3 by Enve Composites/3T Cycling
A 5 star event inside a 5 star hotel: MAS DE TORRENT.
Last Saturday at the exclusive 5-star Mas de Torrent hotel, we organized a five-star event that exceeded all expectations. More than 300 cycling enthusiasts joined together to conquer the Empordà through a challenging 117 km route with a positive elevation gain of 1200 meters, marked by some technical sandy sections that tested our skill and endurance. As always, ENVE COMPOSITES and 3T Cycling were the main sponsors, as well as Pas Normal Studios.
The day started early with a delicious breakfast provided by Cereal Bakery. Amid coffees and conversations, excitement and anticipation grew as we prepared to set off. The atmosphere at Mas de Torrent was charged with energy; adrenaline was palpable in the air.
The route designed was a true trial by fire: 117 kilometers traversing the most emblematic landscapes of the Empordà, with a positive elevation gain of 1200 meters that included sandy sections challenging our technique with every pedal stroke. These segments tested not only our physical capabilities but also our technical skills, especially in the sandier areas where precision was key.
After hours of effort on wheels, we returned to Mas de Torrent where the real party awaited us. Taylor Phinney, a former professional cyclist turned DJ, took care of the music, creating a festive and vibrant atmosphere that made us dance and relax while enjoying a well-deserved cold beer. The combination of good music, good food, good vibes, and the best company was the perfect closure for a day of pure gravel.
This event was not only a display of endurance and skill but also a celebration of the gravel community and the spirit of adventure that unites us. Every kilometer traveled, every slope overcome, and every moment shared on and off the track reaffirmed why we love this sport.
