We received a request via email to rent a Gravel bike in order to discover what Girona has to offer. Girona is known for beautiful array of countless tracks, paths and untouched trails. After a brief explanation of how our rental service works, they ask us for the possibility that one of our guides can accompany them during the rental of the Gravel bike.

Guiding Day

After a little chat about what they are looking for through the Gravel ride, we decided to meet the at 08:00 the following morning. The earlier departure allowed time to escape the midst of the summer heat, and make the most of our day exploring gravel. Our guide had prepared a route to Banyoles according to what had been discussed the day before, and decided to venture further north in search of good gravel tracks. During the first kilometres of the ride and as they started to get to know each other, they decided to change route in order to be able to offer better guidance.

By having local guides who know all the corners of Girona and its surroundings, we were able to change the direction of our route without any problem. The result: creating a departure to one of our favourite spots during a gravel route, Rustik. Passing by the slope of the Ter river, we went directly to the Rustik, located about 30km from Girona. We ordered some of their well known delicacies, Nutella croissant with banana and Mister Corn.

With new strength and energy we decided to return along the other side of the Ter river towards Girona after having enjoyed a beautiful and splendid day of Gravel through the Empordà and Girona.
