The Best Cycling Shops in Barcelona
Are you a cyclist and are thinking of coming to Barcelona? It is undoubtedly one of the cycling capitals of the world, where the sea meets the mountains. Despite being a very big city, Barcelona has many beautiful roads around it, to the north and south and is also where you can enjoy fun gravel and mtb routes.
Like any city with a love of cycling, Barcelona has a wide range of cycling shops, but here is our selection of the ones we believe are essential.
VELODROM BARCELONA
We opened our first store in 2013. Since then we have grown and in 2022 we opened our new current store, in the heart of the city. A large space made by and for the cyclist, in which you will find more then what a cyclist needs.
We work with exclusive brands such as Pas Normal Studios, Rapha, Maap, Ndlss and Café du Cycliste, as well as casual brands such as Paul Smith or Laser Barcelona.
In addition to the sale and advice of clothing and accessories, we also assemble and sell dream bicycles, have a specific biomechanical centre, as well as a repair workshop.
Without a doubt, a must visit if you are a cyclist and you are in Barcelona.
L'EQUIPIER
Located near the Sagrada Familia, L’Equipier opened in 2021 and is dedicated to the sale of bicycles, clothing, accessories. They also have a workshop and offer to pick up your bike at home and once repaired or serviced will return it back to you. They have brands such as Biehler Cycling, Tactic or Met in terms of helmets.
One of their differences, is that as well as selling new bikes they also sell reconditioned second-hand bikes, so you have access to a top-of-the-range bike at a reduced price.
QUINIENTOSDOCE
Located in the neighbourhood of Tres Torres, we find Quinientosdoce. A place where you will find brands such as Tanline, Poc, BMC, Patagonia, Attaquer and they also have their own brand.
They also have a repair workshop, where they treat all types of bicycles, road, gravel and mtb.
CRITERIUM BCN
You'll find it near Plaça Universitat, where they have a wide selection of bikes from brands such as Megamo, MMR, Cube and Factor, as well as helmets and other accessories from POC and Giro. They also have a selection of cycling clothing brands such as Givelo, q36.5 and Bioracer.
There you will also find a bicycle repair and assembly workshop.
ORBEA CAMPUS
A space dedicated solely to the Orbea brand, where you will find its entire catalogue of bicycles, helmets and clothing. It is a very spacious shop which also has a specialised workshop and a small corner with a cafeteria to have a coffee before your ride or whilst you wait for your bike to be ready.
